Make better use of cupboards, walls and worktops with our range of kitchen storage racks and organisers. From microwave stands and dish drainers to spice organisers and rolling trolleys, the collection is designed to help create a more practical, clutter-free kitchen without wasting useful space.

Kitchen storage for worktops, walls and small spaces

  • Microwave stands and countertop racks add useful storage above appliances and preparation areas.
  • Spice racks and condiment shelves keep everyday ingredients organised and easier to reach.
  • Dish drainers with cutlery holders provide dedicated space for drying and organising washing-up essentials.
  • Rolling kitchen trolleys add flexible storage that can be moved where it is needed.
  • Wall-mounted and punch-free racks help make use of vertical space where worktop room is limited.
  • Pan and pot rack organisers stack pans vertically so they are not nested inside each other.

How to choose kitchen storage

Choosing the right kitchen organiser starts with the space you want to improve. Measure the available width, depth and height, then compare the product dimensions before ordering. The number most people miss is the gap between the worktop and the underside of the wall units: UK kitchens are designed with a minimum of 40 cm there, and anything you stand on the counter has to fit inside it. Nine of the 35 items in this collection publish no depth figure and six publish no dimensions at all, so where a number is missing, take the pessimistic reading. Punch-free and adhesive racks suit rented kitchens and tiled walls but need a smooth, non-porous surface and a load limit you should respect; screwed fixings are the choice for anything holding weight. Expandable designs are useful where the gap is awkward. Our guide to where to put the microwave in a small kitchen works through the measurements in full, including how much worktop a countertop rack actually gives back.

Kitchen storage FAQs

Will a punch-free rack hold without drilling?

On smooth, non-porous tile or glass, yes, within the stated weight limit. Textured, painted or porous walls are not suitable.

What size microwave stand do I need?

Measure your microwave’s width, depth and height, then add the ventilation clearance the manufacturer asks for — usually 10–15 cm above and at least 5 cm at the sides. Our expandable 2 & 3 tier microwave stand spans 40–60 cm wide with 32–42 cm of clearance under the shelf, so at its top setting it clears an appliance about 32 cm tall with a 10 cm gap. If your microwave is taller than that it needs a stretch of worktop with open air above it rather than a rack. The full sum is in our microwave stand guide.

Can a kitchen trolley take an appliance on top?

Check the load rating for the top surface rather than the whole unit — they are very different numbers, and only two of the twelve wheeled carts across our kitchen range publish a top-only figure at all. Where a listing gives one overall figure it bundles every basket, drawer and shelf.

Can these racks go in a rented kitchen?

Punch-free, freestanding and over-sink designs all install without drilling, which makes them the safer option in a rental.
