This large artichoke ornament is individually crafted in ceramic, with rows of rounded, overlapping leaves rising to a soft point above a fluted foot. A glossy ivory glaze pools in the folds and gives it a gently weathered, Mediterranean feel.

At 36.5cm high it makes a striking piece on a sideboard, mantelpiece or dining table, and the pale glaze suits both classic and contemporary rooms.
