Which size Christmas tree do I need?

• 3–4ft – tabletops, sideboards, offices and kids' rooms.
• 5–6ft – most UK living rooms.
• 7ft – high ceilings, hallways and open-plan spaces.

Allow at least 15–20 cm between the top of the tree (or topper) and the ceiling, and check the diameter so it doesn't block a walkway.

Pre-lit or unlit?

Pre-lit trees save the yearly untangling of lights and spread them evenly through the branches. Unlit trees let you choose your own lights and colours.
