Q: What's the difference between Halloween inflatables and animatronics?
A: Inflatables are giant, self-inflating fabric figures built for maximum outdoor visibility, and they light themselves — three to nine lamps at 0.24–0.5 W each inside a translucent shell. Animatronics are smaller, more detailed props with motorised movement, glowing eyes and sound. Their lighting is an eye pair rather than a floodlight (the most common figure in the range is 0.12 W), so they want a porch, a hallway or a lit window rather than an open lawn.

Q: Do these decorations work for both indoor and outdoor displays?
A: It varies by product, and less than you might expect. Inflatables are weather-resistant and built for outdoor use. Of the 51 non-inflatable props, 48 state indoor or covered outdoor use only — check each product's specification for its weatherproof rating before placing it in the open.

Q: Will an animated prop react when trick-or-treaters walk up?
A: Only one will on its own. Exactly one prop in the range — the 189 cm Animated Ghost Bridegroom — has a motion sensor.
